TAMMY MYERS (SHE/HER)
SECRETARY
Tammy joined the CWP Board in July of this year and is excited to serve the organization and the community for many years to come. She currently serves as the Board's Deputy Secretary and is passionate about creating opportunities that bring people together. Through CWP, Tammy hopes to encourage, support, and celebrate the Grand Valley by helping create events that foster connection, build community, and highlight the wonderful people who call this area home.
A Colorado native, Tammy was born and raised in the Denver area before moving to the Grand Valley in the mid-1990s. After marrying her partner, she spent several years in San Diego, California, before returning to the Grand Valley in 2005. She is proud to call the Grand Valley home and values the strong sense of community that makes it such a special place to live.
By day, Tammy works as a Support Coordinator for a local nonprofit serving the Grand Valley. She loves being part of an organization that supports people from all walks of life and finds great joy in watching individuals thrive, programs grow, and new ideas come to life. Knowing her work helps make a positive difference in the community is what makes it so rewarding.
Outside of work and volunteering, Tammy enjoys embracing her creative side through beading, crocheting, knitting, and learning new arts and crafts. She also loves camping, reading, and—when she gets the chance—a well-earned afternoon nap. Most of all, she treasures spending time with family and friends, whether they're gathered around a board game, sharing a delicious meal, or simply making memories together.
