JOANNA EARICH (SHE/HER)
COMMUNICATIONS AND MARKETING DIRECTOR
She joined the CWP Board at the start of 2026, stepping into the role of Communications with a deep commitment to uplifting and celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community across Grand Junction and all of Western Colorado. Having lived in Grand Junction for 24 years after moving from Arizona in 2002, Joanna brings both long‑standing local insight and a passionate drive to help create Pride events that reflect the diversity, joy, and needs of the community.
Joanna stays involved because of the direct feedback she receives from community members - voices she believes deserve fair and authentic representation at the board level. Ensuring that Pride incorporates events people genuinely want to see is a core part of what motivates her service.
Outside of her board work, Joanna is a case manager at an assisted living facility and a full‑time student. She recently earned her bachelor’s degree and is pursuing her master’s degree.
A few fun facts: in her free time, Joanna loves hiking, being in and around water, practicing yoga, writing, and spending time with her family.
Two truths and a lie:
-She has six children who all identify as part of the queer community.
-She has never traveled out of the country.
-Although she is in a straight‑presenting relationship, she does not identify as straight.
