BRAY PETERSON (HE/THEY)

Bray joined the board in 2025 and moved into the Events Coordinator position with a love of helping deliver Queer events that inspire joy and a sense of community across Grand Junction and Western Colorado. Bray moved to Grand Junction in 2021 to pursue an education that introduced them to a world of beauty and color that was previously unknown, which led them to Good Judy’s and 2nd Saturday, where they came to work as a bartender serving the community. Bray previously has worked in the events and service industry for 11 years, and strives to bring that dedication and experience to the organization to deliver Pride events that the community can be proud of and enjoy.

Bray stays involved because of the passion they have to create for those around them. Raised to believe that acts of service and love are the best way to show that you care and respect your community around you, he wishes to spread that love and joy to everyone he works with on a daily basis.

Some cool things about Bray, he is a licensed cosmetologist as well as a bartender, so any color or cut he has at the time, he probably did himself. Bray runs a Dungeons & Dragons campaign with some of his closest friends, where he plays as the Dungeon Master. He is also an extensive bibliophile and has a decent personal library.

Two truths and a lie:

-They are an Eagle Scout

-They can race horses in multiple categories (i.e. barrel racing, steeplechasing, flat racing)

-They have never been to the East Coast
